Contracts and compliance
Who is our contract with?
Manpower Abroad SRL, trading as Aegis Edge, registered in Bucharest, Romania. The contract is under EU law and invoiced in EUR.
How is GDPR handled for work done in India?
Before any access, we sign a Data Processing Agreement with Standard Contractual Clauses and give you our sub-processor list. Engineers only get access to what their work needs.
Who owns the code and other IP?
You do. The contract assigns all intellectual property to you, and the code lives in your repositories from day one.
Can you help with NIS2 or DORA supplier reviews?
Yes. We fill in supplier questionnaires and share our security documentation during onboarding.
Do engineers sign NDAs?
Yes, individually, in addition to the company contract.
Engineers
Where are the engineers based?
In India, on shifts that cover most of the CET working day.
How experienced are they?
Every team is led by a senior engineer. Associate engineers are called associates, and you see every profile before anyone starts.
Can we interview them?
Yes. You interview the senior lead and anyone else on the team.
What if someone is not a good fit?
We replace them at no cost, usually within 2 weeks.
Do they use AI tools?
Yes, business-tier tools like Claude, Cursor and Copilot with training on your data switched off. A senior reviews every change before it is merged.
Pricing and billing
How do you price?
Team Extension is billed monthly per engineer, based on seniority and stack. Delivery Pods are billed monthly per team. Fixed-scope projects are quoted after a scoping workshop and billed per milestone.
Are there recruiting or setup fees?
No. Recruiting, equipment and HR are part of the monthly rate.
How does VAT work?
Invoices come from our company in Romania. For business customers in other EU countries the reverse charge usually applies. Your accountant can confirm.
Is there a minimum commitment?
3 months for Team Extension. Delivery Pods start with a 2-week trial sprint.
Can we reduce the team?
Yes, with 30 days notice.
Getting started
How quickly can we start?
Profiles within 3 working days. Work usually starts about two weeks after the first call.
What happens on the first call?
Fifteen minutes on your stack, the gap and your timeline. We tell you plainly whether we are a good fit.
Do you work with startups?
Yes, if you have a product or funding and need senior capacity. We also work with agencies and larger companies.
Which countries do you work with?
Clients anywhere in the EU. Our focus is Germany, the Netherlands and the Nordics.
